Electric Generators: Operation, Performance Analysis, & Testing
المولدات الكهربائية : التشغيل ، تحليل الاداء ، والصيانة
LanguageLanguage: EN / AR

Course Overview

Excitation systems play a major role in determining the performance of synchronous generators; namely voltage regulation, reactive power control, and electromechanical and voltage stability. These requirements vary according to the mode of operation such as isolated generators, parallel operation of local generators and interconnected systems. The effect and requirements of the excitation system has to be well understood to specify and design the suitable system.

Course Objective

The course is intended to provide electric engineers with collective and recent knowledge about generators exciters including: ordering specifications, operation, analysis, maintenance, testing and protection. The information includes both theoretical and practical aspects.

Who Should Attend??

Electric utility engineers in various departments deal with interconnected generators testing, protection, operation, stability and control. The course is also suitable for all engineers deal with emergency generators and local generation.
