Course Overview

The purpose of this Course is to provide employees with the basic skills needed during a major disaster. This training will allow employees to respond to the immediate need of their community in the aftermath of a major disaster - the time when emergency services may not be immediately available. By working together,employees can assist in saving lives and protecting property by implementing the basic techniques taught in this course

Course Objective

  • Minimize duplication of emergency response plans at the same facility
  • Develop a single emergency response plan per facility, eliminating confusion, which is critical for facility first responders
  • Improve coordination between facility response personnel and local emergency personnel
