Course Overview

This seminar is an intensive five days course emphasizing the benefits of inspected fire systems and their impact on loss prevention programs.

Attendees will learn first-hand the principles and practices of maintaining, inspecting, testing, and
troubleshooting fire protection and detection equipment to include fire protection water distribution systems

Course Objective

  • Locate and apply the inspection requirements for sprinkler system components with the exception of system valves.
  • Locate and apply the testing requirements for sprinkler system components with the exception of system valves including:
    • Sprinklers
    • Pressure Gauges
    • Alarm Devices
  • Locate and apply the inspection, testing, and maintenance requirements for sprinkler system.

Anyone whose responsibilities include the inspection, testing, and maintenance of equipments-based fire protection systems including: maintenance professionals, sprinkler system contractors, building owners, and enforcement officials.
